About Kevin

Kevin is a self-taught artist born and raised in East London (formerly known as Mr Hyperrealism). His interest in art stemmed from an early age having observed his older sister drawing. He experimented with various art mediums from crayons, colour pencils to watercolours and acrylics. Capturing landscapes of magnificent scenery, animals, Marvel superheroes and portraits of inspirational people, Kevin's work became incredible photo-realistic.

In 2014 Kevin began acquiring commissions and gifted a portrait oil painting to 'Jermaine Jackman' (The Voice UK Winner 2014). In 2015, Kevin went on to paint arguably the most powerful man in the world on a dollar bill. This painting is what we know to be 'The Billion Dollar Painting' (owned by Barak Obama himself), which was for his final year as President of the United States.

Late 2015 Kevin was introduced to London Based Street Artist 'Stik'  who has been supporting and mentoring Kevin within the art world.

In 2018 Kevin began creating The Brexit Note as part of 'The Note Collection' which was kindly accepted by Former British Prime Minister Theresa May. During 2019 he received a letter from 10 Downing Street from Helena Hopkins MBE which read "
The Prime Minister was delighted to receive your kind gift and sends you her very best wishes."

Also, late 2019 Kevin created The Euro Note as part of the same collection which was accepted by Former President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. Kevin received a letter from President Jean Claude Juncker stating "
I am pleased to accept your kind offer and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you continued success with your artistic endeavours.

Kevin's art will continue to develop and he wants to encourage others to acknowledge the importance of his art - whether he captures the moments made in history or through taking you on a brand new artistic journey, he welcomes you to his world.
